It had been so long since she had seen her beloved husband
He had passed away a sum of nine years ago
She sat and wasted her days away in her rocking chair,
waiting for the moment she would see him again

The house still full of memories no one could ever replace
Pictures hung on the walls, from all the good times they had
They were each other's first loves, and each other's last
They couldn't be replaced

She sat outside in the warm summer breeze's
Her last days in play
She had tied up everything in this world and was ready for her next journey
And when she went to bed that final evening
She knew that day was her last without her husband

And when she reached the gates, she felt his embrace for the first time in so long
And all the could do, was look at each other,
